Accused of posing as a teenage boy on the Internet, Lori Drew plead not guilty pleaded not guilty in a federal court here Monday morning to charges of Internet fraud and conspiracy to inflict emotional distress in the harassing a 13-year-old girl who later committed suicide.

Lori Drew,49, Missouri woman under the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, used in cases in which hackers gain access to information stored on protected computers was in indicted by a grand jury in May. This will be the first time this law has been used United States attorney for Los Angeles, Thomas P. O’Brien.

Lori Drew set up an account on Myspace and sending horrible messages to a 13-year-old until she in desperation killed herself. Lori Drew’s daughter was friends with the suicided girl.

Lori Drew is out on bail until the trial.
